For the 3rd time this season, the Minnesota Lynx will take on the Dallas Wings. They will play at the College Park Center in Arlington, TX. Minnesota won both games previously played this season.
The Lynx are off to a hot start, going 8-0 so far. Minnesota and New York are the only 2 teams left undefeated. Their first 8 games have been split, 4 at home and 4 on the road, so they’re comfy wherever they play. The Lynx come into this game off their latest win over the Mercury on Tuesday night where they crushed them.
Napheesa Collier leads this team once again and starting off with an MVP worthy performance. She is averaging 25 points and 8.7 rebounds per game on 35 minutes per game so far. Collier comes into this game on a 4 game double double streak.
The return of Kayla McBride has definitely helped the Lynx as she is another weapon to guard. In the 4 games she’s played, she’s averaging 16 points, 4.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game. McBride is also playing around 31 minutes per game, so no restrictions there.
Courtney Williams and Alana Smith are playing their roles nicely so far. Smith could get a little dirtier down low to bring her rebounds per game up a little, but she’s doing work. Off the bench, Natasha Hiedeman has contributed 8.8 points per game as well.
Dallas will try to get a win with the return of Bueckers

Wings guard Paige Bueckers makes her way into the offensive zone guarded by the Lynx Courtney Williams.
Dallas is 1-7 so far and last in the Western Conference. They have been without their star rookie Paige Bueckers for the last 3 games due to illness, but she will make her return today. Bueckers showed her worth right from her 1st game and she has been missed.
The Wings come into this game off a loss to the Sparks Friday night. They have yet to win at a game at home this season, including their season opener loss to the Lynx. Their out matched in all aspects of offense and defense, so it’s going to be a tough game for them.
This is the 3rd time they will face each other, so maybe Dallas can make some adjustments. Players like DiJonai Carrington, who has been playing great, need to continue to do so with Paige back in the lineup. Arike Ogunbowale has been very inconsistent this season, so you never know what you’re getting from her.
Defense is not their strong suit and they’ll be facing one of the league’s top offenses, so I’m surprised the line is not double digits. The books are maybe giving the Wings some respect with Bueckers due back with a 9.5 point line. Let’s check out the odds and get into the Lynx vs Wings picks.

We should see more of the same from the previous 2 matchups. I think the Lynx take this game easily and if we could ladder the spread, or if you can, do it. They should win this game by more than 10 points like the 1st game.
The return of Paige will be huge for the Wings. I don’t know if it will make them able to beat one of the best teams in the league, but it does bring back 15 points and 7 assists of offense and 5 rebounds on defense. Dallas will need to shoot the ball much better to win this game.
I’ll be taking Collier to record 24 or more points for -114. We’ll also take her 25 or more points for +114. In one of the two games this season, she did put up over 30, so we’ll be sprinkling that for +360. Her MVP bid will continue, and she should have a good game, especially if it’s not a blowout.
Give me Paige in her return as well. Her point line is 14 or more for -118, which she cleared in her last 2 games before injury. I also like her 25 or more PRA for -112, giving the option of all categories counting since she can do it all.
