We had an exciting day yesterday on the pitch for the first day of matches for the knockout round, but today we have 8 more teams beginning a two leg contest with their opponent. PSG, Juventus, Real Madrid and Dortmund all won outright yesterday (All but Juventus on the road) and secured an aggregate lead before heading into their 2nd leg. Will anyone be able to duplicate that performance today? Let’s get in to our UCL best bets and find out.
Remember, matches today are the second leg of a two leg contest between teams for a spot in the UCL bracket. Teams need to leave it all out on the field, as this could be it. We already have 8 teams slotted in the Round of 16, but this week we will fill the remaining spots on the bracket. Below are my best bets in the UCL today, but for our expert’s soccer picks, go to this page here!
UEFA Champions League: Tuesday’s Soccer Action
Keep in mind, as this is the 2nd leg of the knockout phase, lines are adjusted and as sharp as they can be. Most bets made will be final after 90 minutes of play, even if the match continues into extra time to break an aggregate tie.
AC Milan vs Feyenoord Rotterdam Best Bets
Feyenoord Rotterdam lead 1-0 on aggregate

AC Milan NEED a win to advance today
Best Bet: AC Milan ML/Under 3.5 (+130) BetOnline
There is a reason AC Milan is down 1-0 on aggregate but still priced at (-185) to advance. They are winning this match. Last time out, Milan conceded in the first three minutes of the match to Feyenoord Rotterdam on the road. The Italian visitors went on to dominate the rest of the match, out shooting their hosts 6-2 on target, gaining more corners and holding nearly 54% of possession.
Now Milan is back at home with absolutely nothing to lose. They will come out as aggressive as they can, hoping to find an aggregate equalizer very early, and eventually a winner throughout the rest of the match. Feyenoord Rotterdam have lost their last three matches on the road against top competition, and they’ve been ugly. Rotterdam lost 2-0 to PSV, 2-1 to Ajax, and 6-1 to Lille, along with a nil-nil draw against NEC Nijmegan their last time on the pitch. Last week’s win was a fluke, and I see Milan taking care of business tonight at home.
Prediction: AC Milan Wins 2-0 (+700)
Atalanta vs Club Brugge Best Bets
Club Brugge lead 2-1 on aggregate

Atalanta has nothing to lose at home today
Heavy Lean: Under 3 (-124) BetOnline
While I’m not bringing it to the counter, I heavily lean under in this match. The first meeting needed a controversial stoppage time penalty just to hit three, and with Club Brugge on the road with the aggregate lead, they should play this one safe. A nil-nil draw is absolutely fine with the visitors tonight as they would then advance over their opponent. In my mind, they sit back, play conservative soccer and brace for the attack.
Atalanta is like Milan in that they have nothing to lose. It will be a very tall task for the Italians to overcome their deficit against a stout back line, but I could see them squeaking out a 1-0 win after 90 minutes and forcing extra time. Regardless, I see this being a boring kick around for most of the match.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw (+750)
Benfica vs AS Monaco Best Bets
Benfica lead 1-0 on aggregate

Bruma has 7 goals in 18 matches for Benfica
No Bets or Leans for this Match
Benfica is at home with a one goal aggregate lead, yet the books are pricing them at -700 to advance. Surely that doesn’t come back to bite anyone, right?
Monaco is not the most ferocious attacking team, and Benfica will likely play like Club Brugge and sit back defensively, bracing for an offensive onslaught. But Benfica knows what happened to them against Barcelona. Benfica found themselves up 3-1 at halftime and 4-2 with 20 minutes remaining, but Barcelona rallied and netted three to steal a win on the road. With this in mind, I could see Benfica trying to score themselves as often as normal.
Ultimately, I really can’t get a feel for this one and I’ll be passing completely.
Bayern Munich vs Celtic Best Bets

Can Bayern punch their ticket to the next round?
Bayern Munich lead 2-1 on aggregate
Best Bet: Bayern Munich to Win to Nil (+115) BetOnline
Bayern to Win to Nil, Bayern ML & BTTS No, Celtic TT Under 0.5, however you want to play this, be sure to get the most bang for your buck. For me, that was pairing Bayern ML with Both Team To Score No for (+115) in a two leg parlay.
Bayern is up on aggregate 2-1. They found a go ahead goal just before halftime last match and netted another early in the 2nd half. The Germans kept that two goal lead until Celtic broke through in the 79th. Munich does not have to score to win this match, and with Celtic bringing plenty of attacking power, I see the hosts sitting back.
Eventually Bayern is going to score, it’s just what they do, however I see them being very sound defensively throughout the match. While the regular lines didn’t quite jump out to me, playing this for plus money is worth a stab in my most humble opinion. Now keep in mind, BTTS No and Celtic TT Under 0.5 are both already playable by themselves.
BetOnline is offering Celtic TT Under 0.5 for (+105) and BTTS No at (-115). I am simply adding Munich ML to up the payout a bit because I do not see a world where Bayern loses (or draws) this match. However a nil-nil draw would be a shot to the heart.
Prediction: Bayern Munich Wins 2-0 (+750)
