We’ve got our second FA Cup Semifinal match today at Wembley Stadium. Yesterday. Crystal Palace absolutely dominated Aston Villa, beating them 3-0 and advancing to the FA Cup Final. Today, two more teams face off looking to punch their ticket to the title. Nottingham Forest and Manchester City meet today in London to settle their differences.
These teams have already played twice this season, with the home team coming out on top in shutout fashion in both contests. Back in early December, Manchester City took down Nottingham Forest 3-0 at the Etihad. Manchester City controlled over 66% of possession, put 7 of their 17 shots on target, and won the corner kick battle, 8-2. It was a classic Man City routing of an inferior opponent.
However, Forest got their revenge a few months later. The two teams played again in early March, this time in Nottingham at The City Ground. Manchester City once again dominated. They controlled 69% of possession and outshot Forest 14-9 in total attempts. However, Nottingham Forest was able to put four of theirs on frame, compared to just three for Manchester City. Plus, Forest won the corner kick battle 3-2 at home, winning on the scoreboard, 1-0.
We don’t have a home team today, as this game is on a neutral field in London at Wembley Stadium, but someone must come out on top.

Nottingham Forest vs Manchester City Prediction: 1-1 Draw (+600)
Best Bet: Under 2.75 (-118) BetOnline
Now, for those unfamiliar with an Asian Handicap in soccer, let me explain. We put a full unit on Under 2.75 at (-118). This actually splits our bet, and puts half on Under 2.5, and the other half on Under 3. One or two total goals results in us winning both bets, three goals gives us a loss and a push for a small deficit, while four or more goals would give us two losers. We are only risking one unit total, so I think we can afford to make this play. Let me get into my thinking.
I’m not the biggest Asian Handicap bettor, and I thought about laying some juice at Under 3 for (-155). However, in this tournament game, I see defense being a big priority for both sides, especially Nottingham Forest. They know they are outmanned on paper, and Manchester City is returning to the form we are used to seeing from the European giants. Because of this, I bet our small market team plays very conservative, at least to start, bracing themselves for the Manchester City onslaught.
Ultimately, I think City will break through and win this match, but Forest’s defense is capable of slowing down the big guys enough to keep this under for us. Keep it mind, if the match is tied after 90 minutes, there will be extra time and even penalties to decide a winner. Our bet is only for 90 minutes. Lets hope for a boring match of kick around today, and stay low scoring through regulation time.
