Man City comes into this game off a tough loss in the Champions League to Real Madrid. It was a great game where Madrid came back from 1-0 and 2-1 to win the game. It was good to see their offense looking back to normal.
They have one of the best offenses on paper. Ranking 2nd for shots, 3rd for goals, and 1st for completed passes. Haaland was not himself, but he is finally back with goals in his last 7 out of 9 games. His 19 goals on the season just shows how this team runs through him.

Newcastle is 12-5-7 so far this year and are 6th on the table. They’re 3-0-2 in their last 5 games and come into this game off a big win over Birmingham City. Newcastle continues to sit as one of the sneaky teams in the EPL.
This team isn’t pretty on paper, but they find ways to win. They rank in the top 10 for shots and goals scored per game but are 10th or worse in all other categories. Newcastle’s offense also runs through a main guy and that is Alexander Isak.
Isak currently has 17 goals and 5 assists on the season. He was on a 6-game scoring streak where he scored 8 goals a few weeks ago but has since gone cold. Only scoring 2 goals over his last 5 games. The last game he scored in was an EPL game on the road, so he’ll look to do it again.

I like the home team in this one. Their 2-1-1 in their last 4 home games, but the last 2 were dominate wins. The team found their scoring again and I think they can find enough against Newcastle to get the W.
It’s hard to not bet on a guy who’s hot as hell (in plain English). Haaland has scored in his last 2 home games as well, but the way he’s been playing in Champions League has carried over into his overall game.
I do also like Alexander Isak to score or assist for -110. Again, they run this offense through him, and this is a good game for him to keep his team in this. He will odds are score for +130, but we’re going to be soft and take the goal or assist.
And naturally, we’re taking Haaland to score and it’s a nice price of -120. At home and the way he’s been playing, this is a perfect set up for him to score. His 2+ goals is +390 if you’re thinking about sprinkling. He is just coming off a 2-goal game vs one of the best teams in the world.
