In the first EPL match, Villa again possessed the ball nearly 70% of the time, outshot Palace 17-13, and won the corner kick battle 10-1. Yet a missed PK and a stoppage time equalizer kept them at a draw.

The last time out, Villa still won the possession and corner kick battle, holding the ball over 64% of the time while producing eight corner kicks and only conceding three. However they only shot six times and only put two on target. I think that is a bit of an anomaly, and today on a neutral field with the stakes incredibly high, I see Villa getting their revenge.

Their UCL hopes are no longer alive, and they need some points in the EPL to get back to that competition. However, they could add a trophy to their case this season with two more wins in the FA Cup, and I see them doing just that, starting with a win today.
