See Picks & Statistics For The GameHere we go once again. Tonight, we have another Game 7 in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. We had an absolute thriller last night as the Dallas Stars pulled off a miraculous comeback in the 3rd period in order to stamp their ticket to the next round. We have two more teams trying to do the same thing tonight up in Canada, as the Winnipeg Jets host the St. Louis Blues to finish this series.
Throughout this series, we’ve had the home team win every single game. The Jets took the first two, with a comeback victory in Game 1, winning 5-3, and then sneaking away with Game 2 by a score of 2-1. Then the series moved to St. Louis, and the Blues were on fire.
St. Louis jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period of Game 3 and never looked back, eventually winning 7-2. Things weren’t any different the next matchup, as the Blues once again took down the Jets in dominant fashion, 5-1. Winnipeg opened up the scoring but then allowed five unanswered from their hosts. Back to Canada we went for Game 5, where the Jets took another series lead. Things were tied at two midway through the contest, but Winnipeg netted two more to take a 4-2 lead, eventually winning 5-3.
Again, we hit the road to St. Louis, where the Blues won with their backs against the wall, 5-2, to extend this series one more game. Will the Blues finally steal one on the road in order to advance? Or will the Jets win a fourth straight game at home in this playoff series?

We’ve seen a common theme in this series. The home team wins. Simple as that. Winnipeg has been one of the best teams at home all season long, posting a 30-7-4 record. I don’t think St. Louis has the magic in them to win this one on the road tonight, as they fail to generate much offense away from home. I’ll be backing the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets to advance in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

I’m all about transparency, and I have actually opted to pay the juiceman on a different book and take the ML at (-155). Line shop as always, but if that’s too much squeeze for you, take the hosts in 60 minutes tonight.
Over the course of this series, we’ve seen two very defensive minded teams. Although they’ve been finding the back of the net plenty, only once have we had a team take at least 30+ shots on goal (Jets in Game 4). In three games on the road this series, the Blues have averaged just 19.3 SOGs per game. That’s typically not going to get it done against Connor Hellebuyck, especially when his offense is generating 24.6 shots. The Jets defense has also been blocking over 13 shots per game as well, making it easier on their guy between the posts.
Ultimately, I think the home ice advantage will be way too much for the Blues to handle, as they don’t have the same magic that their team did in 2019. Give me Winnipeg at home tonight.
