Predators vs Kraken NHL Predictions & Picks (11/20)
It’s somewhat of a surprise to see the Predators as BetOnline’s road favorites in tonight’s matchup. After all, things didn’t go the Preds’ way the last time they faced the Kraken, who notched a 7-3 blowout win at Bridgestone Arena back on Oct. 15. Nashville just couldn’t stop the opposition from piling up goals as six Seattle skaters tallied multi-point efforts in the encounter.
With the defeat, the Predators have lost six of their last 10 meetings with the Kraken.
The odds situation is even more confusing given the visitors’ recent play. Although the Predators are coming off Sunday’s 5-3 win over the Vancouver Canucks, it’s worth noting that they’re still only 3-8 SU in their last 11 games and were on a three-game skid before their latest victory.
Meanwhile, the Kraken will look to get back on track following a 2-0 loss to the New York Rangers over the weekend, which ended the former’s win streak at four. The good news for them is that the Predators have struggled on the road, dropping six of their last seven away tilts.
Do the Kraken have what it takes to add to the Predators’ recent road woes?
The Kraken also have the edge over the Predators in multiple areas. For starters, Seattle scores an average of 2.84 goals (T-18th) while Nashville only produces 2.42 G/PG (30th). The Kraken are also the more disciplined team, taking the ninth-fewest penalties this season whereas the Predators have been called for the eighth-most.
Seattle has also been more successful at keeping the puck out of its net, only allowing an average of 2.90 goals (11th). Meanwhile, Nashville is allowing an average of 3.21 (18th), which has slightly bumped up to 3.29 in the club’s last seven road games.
As usual, the Predators will likely turn to Juuse Saros to help get revenge tonight. Even though he’s only won three of his last seven starts, that’s most because of a lack of offensive support. After all, Saros backstopped his way to a .934 save percentage and one shutout during that stretch.
As for the Kraken, Joey Daccord will likely be going for his fifth consecutive win tonight. The 28-year-old puck-stopper hasn’t tasted defeat since Nov. 3, going 4-0-0 with a .925 SV% in his last four appearances. He’s also 1-0-1 with a .930 SV% and 1.92 goals-against average in two career meetings with the Predators.
Will Kraken G Joey Daccord win his fifth straight start tonight?
Although the oddsmakers are favoring the Predators, I’m predicting a Kraken victory tonight. I feel like I’m in Bizarro World because Seattle is the clear-cut better team at the moment and has already shown that it can blow out Nashville (on the road, no less). With the Predators also struggling to find the twine on the road lately, I just don’t see the Kraken falling at Climate Pledge Arena tonight.
The Kraken on the moneyline is the way to go.

Best Predators vs Kraken NHL Player Prop (11/20)
After sifting through tonight’s NHL betting options, I’m taking a Jared McCann anytime goal (+200) for tonight’s best Predators vs. Kraken prop.
McCann found his scoring touch when he joined the Kraken in 2021, scoring 105 goals in 252 games during that stretch. The veteran forward already has nine goals in 19 outings this season, which puts him on pace for 39 if he doesn’t miss another game — one off from his career high. Although he suffered a bit of a slow spell at the beginning of November, McCann has now registered a goal in four of his last six games.
The Stratford, Ontario native also tends to step up when facing the Predators, having scored in six of his nine previous encounters with the franchise. Considering how he already scored on Nashville in October, McCann is on track for another successful performance tonight.
