What a series this is going to be.

The Oilers were able to handle their business in Round 1 in 6 games against the tough Kings, as they were carried by their Superstars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.

Draisaitl was particularly spectacular, as he scored 7 goals in the series against the Kings and recorded 11 points.

Connor McDavid also had his stamp on the series, recording 10 points, which was a bit pedestrian in comparison to his normal standards.

McJesus will have a chance to make a big mark on this series as the Knights are a whole different kind of challenge compared to the Kings.

Vegas took care of business in style against the Jets, winning in 5 games and have had to sit back and watch for the past week waiting for their Round 2 opponent.

Jack Eichel and company were in fine form in Round 1 and will have to be just as sharp starting tonight against the offensive prowess of the Oilers.

All in all, this series is going to be full of fireworks and that will start tonight. My pre-playoff favorite to lift the Cup was the Oilers and I am sticking with that pick in this series.

I think it starts tonight. Give me the Oilers to get the job done and take Game 1 on the road to set the tone in this series.
