See Picks & Statistics For The GameWe have a showdown in Rain City, and we have you covered for Leafs vs Kraken picks! The Toronto Maple Leafs will take on the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena. These 2 teams battled back in October and the Leafs won 4-1.
Toronto is 32-19-2 this season and 2nd in the Atlantic Division. They’re currently on a 2-game winning streak but are 5-5-0 in their last 10 games. The Leafs are ok on the road with a 13-8-2 record and thrive more at home.
As we all know, this team is stacked offensively. Between AM34, Mitch Marner, and Willie Nylander – stacked puts it mildly. They rank 11th in goal scored and 14th in shots on goal per game. Their power play and shooting percentage are both 10th in the league as well.
On paper, their defense is middle of the road but hold their own to get the W’s. They rank 13th in goals allowed 20th in shots on goal allowed per game. Their penalty kill is 15th in the league, which is pretty good. Toronto commits almost 4 penalties per game, so they spend some time on the PK.
Goalie Joseph Woll is expected to get the start tonight in net. He is 19-10-0 this season with a 2.67 GAA and a .909 save percentage. Woll got the 1 goal win in the first matchup this season.
Seattle will look to break 2-game losing streak at home

Both the Leafs and Kraken defensemen look to make a move towards the puck.
Seattle is 23-28-4 and 7th in the Pacific Division. Coming in on a 2-game losing streak, the Kraken 4-5-1 in their last 10 games and are 13-13-4 at home. The team continues to struggle this season to get anything going.
Their offense is ok to be generous. They are 14th in goals scored, but 27th in shots on goal per game. Seattle does have a good shooting percentage ranking 6th in the league, so it makes up for their lack of shots. The Kraken struggle on the power play though, only converting 18.5% of the time, ranking 25th in the league.
Defensively, Seattle is not very good. The best thing they do is not commit penalties, but that’s it. They rank 24th in goals allowed and 19th in shots on goal allowed per game. Their penalty kill struggles as well, only killing off 76.2% of the time.
Expected in net tonight is Joey Daccord for the Kraken. He is 18-13-3 this season with a 2.49 GAA and a .915 save percentage. Let’s check out the odds and get into the picks.

I’m taking the away team here. I know they played a long way back at this point, but I see the same result here. A Leafs win by 2 or more goals, and we’ll take the plus chicky to go with it.
This Maple Leafs offense can really pound it on when clicking and if allowed. They should have no problem putting pucks on net tonight and we know some are going to go in. Last game they played, the stars shined for the Leafs, and I think we see it again.
I like William Nylander for 4+ shots on goal and he had 6 last game vs the Kraken. Sprinkling his goal as well since he scored 2 last time. Going with the same thing, we’re taking Auston Matthews for 4+ shots on goal and to score a goal. Matthews had 4 shots and a goal last game.
Daccord over saves is another play I have my eye on. He had 26 saves vs the Leafs in October but has just had two 30+ save games and I think that’s what he sees tonight. His line should come out around 25-27.
