After 2 overtime losses, the Senators have their backs against the wall tonight to avoid being swept. Toronto took a commanding 3-0 series lead after holding off the Senators comeback in Game 3. Both of the last 2 games finished 3-2 in overtime.

Ottawa had a solid year and a strong finish to get the 1st Wild Card spot in the East. They were 45-30-7 this season and finished 4th in the Atlantic Division. This is their 1st time back in the playoffs since 2017.

The Senators have a tough group of guys. Brady Tkachuk leads this team and got his 1st two playoff goals each of the last 2 games. Young guys like Drake Batherson and Tim Stutzle are growing like crazy. The addition of Dylan Cozens has also been working very well.

Their defense was pretty solid this season. Ottawa ranked 13th in goals allowed and 18th in shots on goal allowed per game. The past 2 games have been a harder fought, more defense 1st games, with both going under the total.

Goalie Linus Ullmark has started all 3 games this series. His regular season numbers were good with a 25-14-3 record with a sub 3.00 GAA. Ullmark just needs to keep holding strong and hope for some more offensive help in Game 4.

This is a big game for the Leafs. A win here would be their 1st playoff series sweep since 2001. It would also put them in the 2nd round for only the 2nd time in the past 9 years. Huge game for this organization when you consider those things.

Per usual, they had a very strong regular season. Toronto finished with a 52-26-4 record and won the Atlantic Division. They also finished off the season going 9-1-0 in their last 10 games, so they are still riding that momentum.

Mitch Marner led the team this year in points while recording 75 assists. William Nylander had 45 goals and 84 points, while Auston Matthews was rather quiet. He only recorded 33 goals and 45 assists, which are low numbers for him.

Toronto allowed a lot of shots on goal on defense but still managed to hold teams to an average of less than 3 goals scored per game. Goalie Anthony Stolarz will be in net tonight. He has won all 3 games this series with a 2.00 GAA over the 3 games. Let’s check out the odds and get into the picks.

I bet against them last game, but I’m not going to this time. Give me the Leafs to win and close out the series. This is a big game for the Leafs because not only will they get out of the 1st round again, but they’ll sweep and that would be huge for the organization.

The last 2 games have been close, but Toronto has still been able to pull out the wins. This game won’t be any different except the Leafs now have the taste of the 2nd round and could spark them. If they can get Auston Matthews to shoot more, he could get hot. He has 1 goal and 4 assists so far this series.

I do like for Brady Tkachuk to keep shooting. You can take his 4 shots for -150 or go to 5 shots for +150. He’s had 4, 5, and 5 in each of the 3 game so far, with the 4-shot game being most recent. He has also scored in his last 2 games, so I’ll be sprinkling the goal for +160.

Going back to Matthews, his assist is -113 and a great look since he’s had 1 in every game this series. It’s Auston Matthews, so I don’t think I need to sell much there (lol).
