On paper, there is no offense to be found for this team. They rank 4th worst in the league for goals scored and 23rd in the league for shots on goal per game. Anaheim’s shooting percentage 5ths worst in the league and their power play is 2nd worst.

Their defense isn’t much better. They rank 21st in goals allowed and dead last for shots on goal allowed per game. For special teams, their penalty kill is just as bad as their power play, ranking 6th worst in the league.

We have 2 weaker defenses up against 2 decent goalies and I smell an under. Both of these goalies have sub 2 GAA’s and neither played in the last game, so the players haven’t seen each goalie. We should see a good, competitive matchup like the last time as well.

The Ducks have put up 4 goals in each of their last 2 games and 3 goals in the game prior. I think we seen regression now and get 2-3 goals out of them tonight. There’s always a cool down to the hotness, a fall from the rise as you would say.

Utah has also been scoring, with 3 goals in each of their last 2 games and 4 in the game prior. I could see them scoring 3-4 goals tonight, which is what makes me take the under. For a side, I do lean with Utah and a 4-2 finish at max. Probably more of a 3-1 or 2-1 finish.

I like a few props in this game. First is Cutter Gauthier for 2 or more shots on goal for -154. He has hit the line in his last 2 games vs Utah. Gauthier has also recorded 3 shots on goal in each of his last 3 games straight. His 3 or more shots is valued at +210 if you’re feeling spicy.

The last play I like is Mikhail Sergachev to record a point for -135. He has great history vs Anaheim, recording at least 1 in his last 6 games vs them. Sergachev has also just recorded a point his back-to-back games, so good opportunity to keep it going.
