Only three more days of the regular season, which means we got two more shots for another sweep before the NHL playoffs begin. We will lean into teams who are still fighting for playoff spots and players looking to reach milestones until the playoffs kick off. We are now a 54-48 record over the last 32 articles with a positive unit size due to plenty of plus money plays cashing.
We will be breaking down NHL best bets here at Betting News all season! Each article will look for VALUE, as in straights you can take to build up your bankroll or pieces you can use to beef up your parlays. All bets will be -135 or better odds. And while we will focus on NHL player props, there are times we will take sides and totals. So keep your eyes peeled here as we will drop these throughout the week.
And if you haven’t already be sure to check out some of my favorite futures and awards. So time to lace them up and get ready to ride with Betzky for my favorite NHL best bets for 4/15/2025!
1. Adam Fantilli Point +120 on BetOnline:

Adam Fantilli is stepping up and his point looks like a best bet
Technically the Columbus Blue Jackets aren’t eliminated from the playoffs yet. And while it looks very bleak as they will need to catch the Montreal Canadiens who are four points ahead of them, you can still use the Dumb and Dumber “So you’re saying there’s a chance” gif when writing about them. But because of this they should be motivated tonight, as any type of loss will end their season.
Luckily they play the Philadelphia Flyers tonight who have allowed the 5th most goals against per game this season. So let’s find some players who not only have motivation to keep the season alive, but for their own personal milestones to get extra value. And tonight that player will be 2nd line center Adam Fantilli. He has had a breakout season with 29 goals and 52 points in his second year in the league. And you just know the budding star would love to get 30 goals.
Not only may that kick in a bonus, but it would be impressive for such a young player to hit 30 goals. He broke a four game pointless streak and now has 5 points in his last 4 games. Fantilli has been slightly better on the road and has a point in 50% of the 6 games he has played against the Flyers. At plus money, this is an NHL best bet at a discount.

2. Brayden Schenn Point +105 on BetOnline:

Brayden Schenn has been on a red hot top line for the Blues
As I always say, what goes down must come back up. And the Blues’ captain is now pointless in 6 straight games. The Blues are at risk of losing the last wildcard spot if they continue to lose. And after a 12 game win streak they have cooled off. But tonight they get a Utah Hockey Club team coming off a big 7-3 win in Nashville. And while the young team may empty the tank on their last game of the inaugural season, the Blues NEED this win.
The top line for the Blues has been red hot. Top center Rob Thomas has at least one point in 10 straight games and has an INSANE 22 points in those games. So why not pick him? Well not only is his point prop juiced, but so is his assist. And tonight it feels like the secondary scoring will need to chip in. Schenn plays on a line with Kyrou and Snuggerud. Kyrou has decent history against Utah with a point in 50% of games against them, and is better at home with a point in 68% of home games. Snuggerud played in college with Utah player Logan Cooley, which could give him extra motivation tonight as well.
At plus money this point prop holds value. You could also staple Thomas with linemate Buchnevich, but they have been doing the heavy lifting lately. Tonight we will turn to the captain to help keep his team in the last wildcard spot, making his point an NHL best bet.

3. Mitch Marner assist-130 on BetOnline:

Mitch Marner has been on fire lately, making his assist a best bet
The Toronto Maple Leafs are sitting on top of the Atlantic, and it’s a playoff spot that could be vital for a deep run. Holding this spot allows them to take on either the Ottawa Senators or whoever takes the last wildcard spot. But more importantly, it lets them avoid playing one of the Florida teams in round one. And while this playoff spot will mean more to Marner than breaking a milestone, for the first time in his career he could hit 100 points.
Mitch Marner is sitting at 99 points and has two more games to break 100 for the first time. Over his last ten games Marner has an assist in 7 games and 10 assists total in those games. And while he does have a goal in 4 games in that span, his assist is the more consistent prop. You could also take him for 2+ points which he has hit in 3 of the last 10 games. But I lean assist here for the playable odds.
The Buffalo Sabres are a great target too. They have allowed the 4th most goals against per game this season. And while they are better at home, they still have allowed the 9th most GA/GP over the last 10 games. Marner has a fantastic history against them with an assist in 9 of the last 12 games against them and 18 assists in those 9 games. Add this all up and it’s easy to see why his assist is an NHL best bet.
