1. Tage Thompson o3.5 SOG -115 on BetOnline:
Tage Thompson has been so hot. Over the last 10 games he has 6 goals, recently snapping a three game goalless drought with a two goal performance. He also has a point in 70% of the 20 games he has played this season. But tonight we are looking for him to throw pucks on net.
The Buffalo Sabres center has now hit his 3.5 SOG (shots on goal) prop in four straight games. He’s averaged 7.8 shot attempts over the last five games, a number dragged down by a 1 SOG / 2 shot attempt performance. Tonight the Sabres will be without their top defenseman Rasmus Dahlin and will be facing the Winnipeg Jets.
The Jets are a top team in the league who have been on a skid. However, they are also allowing the 5th most shots against in the league over the last 10 games. They are also taking the 8th most penalties per game, meaning Tage will have ample time on the power play to fling puck. The Sabres lost to the Avalanche in embarrassing fashion, dropping a 4-0 lead in the 1st. Tage and crew will look to right the ship tonight, meaning his SOG is an NHL Best Bet.

2. Victor Hedman o2.5 SOG –125 on BetOnline:
Sometimes players step up in big ways when their star teammates are out. And Victor Hedman has been taking on a big role with Nikita Kucherov sidelined with injury. This will be the second game the Tampa Bay Lightning will be without their All-Star Nikita Kucherov. In Saturday’s game against Toronoto Hedman put up 3 shots on goal (SOG) off of 8 shot attempts and recorded two assists.
Tonight the Lightning will host the San Jose Sharks, who have turned into a formidable opponent with their rising stars. However, old habits die hard and the Sharks are still leaky as they come to opponent shots. Over the course of the season the Sharks are allowing the 4th most shots against (32 SA/GP) and are taking the 7th most penalties.
To align all the stars further, the Sharks are especially leaky to defensemen. They lead the league in shots against from defensemen averaging 10.25 SA/GP to the position. While Hedman isn’t always known for his shooting volume, he has hit his SOG prop in two straight with 12 and 8 shot attempts. He’s averaged 6.3 shot attempts over the last 10 games. Without Kucherov he will be relied on to step up his offensive game, making his SOG an NHL best bet tonight.

3. Dylan Holloway Point +135 on BetOnline:
Players LOVE to show off in their hometown. Especially when they pack the stands with friends and family. Dylan Holloway oft he St. Louis Blues will be playing his 6th game in his hometown of Calgary. And while he only has a point in two of those games, this was partially due to his lower roles on an Edmonton Oilers team that were stacked at forward.
Now on the Blue Holloway has moved up to playing in the top 6. The big, responsible forward is finding his offensive touch recently as well. He has a point in 4 of the last 5 games and 7 points in those games. The Blues offense has been heating up in general as well with 14 goals over that last four games.
Holloway plays with top forward Jordan Kyrou on the 2nd line and centers the 2nd power play unit. This should give him plenty of minutes. The Calgary Flames have been a bit up and down all season. They are coming off a shutout win, but allowed 19 goals against in the 5 games before that. This is a great spot for Holloway to keep rolling and give us a plus money NHL best bet!
