1. Carolina Hurricanes Regulation Win +100 on BetOnline:

The Hurricanes offender tries to keep the puck away from the Capitals defenseman.
It’s a must win game for the Washington Capitals tonight, but the Caorina Hurricanes are poised to clinch their second-round series against them tonight in Game 5. The Hurricanes relentless forechecking, suffocating puck possession and the outstanding play of goaltender Frederik Andersen has been too much for the Capitals. And if the Capitals are down late in the third they could pull their goaltender very early, allowing the Hurricanes to close it out in regulation, or better, covering their spread at +155.
Andersen’s performance between the pipes has been a cornerstone of Carolina’s success. With a .935 save percentage, Andersen has consistently thwarted Washington’s scoring attempted, including a 21-save shutout in Game 3. The Capitals have also struggled to get much on net, making Andersen’s workload fairly light. The Hurricanes have outshot the Capitals 99-59 at even strength, showcasing their ability to control the tempo of the game and sustain offensive pressure.
Offensively, Carolina’s depth has been evident, with contributions from players like Logan Stankoven and Taylor Hall. The team has been able to find scoring up and down the line up which has been to much to handle for the Capitals. Given their current momentum, strategic dominance and superior goaltending, it would not be surprising to see the Hurricanes move on in regulation. Making the Hurricanes 60-minute Money Line at +100 an NHL best bet.

2. Dallas Stars / Winnipeg Jets u5.5 Total Goals -105 on BetOnline:

Winnipeg Jets goalie Connor Hellebuyck needs to step up for the team tonight
The Winnipeg Jets have been a very different team at home during these playoffs, winning all but one of their six playoff home games. And facing elimination from the Dallas Stars should mean they will do everything they are able to contain them, slow their offense down a play the heavy game they like to play. Even in this series, three of the first four games went under 5.5, and this game should be much more conservative.
The goaltending matchup further supports the under bet. Winnipeg’s Connor Hellebuycky, a Vezina Trophy finalist, recorded a 4-0 shutout Game 2 at home, showcasing his elite capabilities. On the other side, Dallas Stars’ Jake Oettinger made 31 saves in Game 4, leading the Stars to a 3-1 victory. Both goaltenders have demonstrated the ability to stifle opposing offenses, contributing to the series low scoring.
Histrocial data also favors this NHL best bet. The total has gone under in five of Dallas’s last six road games and in five of their last five games when playing on the road against Winnipeg. Additionally, the total has gone under in 11 of Winnipegs last 12 games against Dallas. COnsiering these factors, betting the under 5.5 total goals appears to be an NHL best bet.

3. Jacob Chychrun o2.5 Block Shots +125 on BetOnline:

Jakob Chychrun of the Washington Capitals SOG has a ton of value!
The Carolina Hurricanes are one of the highest volume shooting teams in the league. They have averaged 34 shots per game through out the playoffs which lead all the remaining teams. The Washington Capitals will be up against the wall tonight facing elimination so it will be critical to take pucks to the body to help reduce goaltender Logan Thompson’s workload and reduce high danger chances. Enter the blocked shots props.
Jacob Chychrun has been a huge success for the Capitals since coming over this season. The big bodies defenseman may be better known for his cannon of a shot and offensive prowess, but during the playoffs he has become a human pylon. The Capitals allow the 2nd most shots against out of the remaining 8 teams of the second round, averaging 29.6 shots against per game. This could be much higher without Chychrun sacrificing the body.
Out of the 9 playoff games played Chychrun has hit his blocked shots prop five times. He has not had less than 2 blocked shots a game and has had 4+ blocked shots three times. Facing a high shot volume team like the Hurricanes, in an elimination situation makes Chychrun’s blocked shots look like an NHL best bet tonight.
