Edmonton Oilers vs. Florida Panthers: Stanley Cup Finals Game 3

Sam Reinhart had six shots on goal last game for Florida
Game 2 was just as exciting as the first. Once again, fans were blessed with some extra hockey and plenty of goal horns. We had five combined goals in the first period, with both teams finding the back of the net on the power play. After one, the hosts led 3-2. However, the Panthers took their own lead in the second period, leading 4-3 heading into the final frame.
With less than 20 seconds remaining, Corey Perry found the back of the net for Edmonton, propelling this series into a second straight overtime matchup. We remained scoreless after one period of overtime, but eight minutes into the second, Brad Marchand found his second goal of the game and seventh of this postseason to seal the win for Florida.
The Ice Cats tied things up, splitting games on the road. Now they host the Oilers, knowing they at least forced a Game 5 back in Alberta.

Tonight the Panthers play host for the first time this series. They won two straight on their home ice to open the Stanley Cup Finals last season, but things are different now. Florida rallied in OT to win the last matchup, and now they head home with momentum on their side.
Will Florida be able to cruise to another victory? Or does Edmonton collect themselves and bounce back on the road?
Edmonton Oilers vs. Florida Panthers Game 3 Best Bets

Evan Bouchard has 15 SOGs in two games of the Stanley Cup Finals
Oilers vs. Panthers Stanley Cup Finals Game 3 Prediction: Panthers Win, Under 6.5
Best Bets: Evan Bouchard Over 2.5 Shots on Goal (-105) Bovada
Bouchard has been the constant in this Oilers offense. He’s had 15 total SOGs in these first two games, he’s on the ice plenty, and he’s on the top power play unit, checking all of our boxes.
In Game 1, he led all Edmonton skaters with 31 minutes and 51 seconds on the ice. He had one assist, seven SOGs, and 14 total attempts, having five miss wide and two get blocked. He picked up the production in Game 2. Bouchard skated for 34 minutes and 29 seconds, leading the Oilers’ defensemen. He had a goal, two assists, and eight total shots on goal. The man had three other attempts miss and four get blocked, totaling 15 shot attempts. On the road, I expect his production to only increase.
Sure, the Ice Cats defense will do a better job at containing the Oilers’ attack, but they have much bigger fish to worry about. They’ll focus on marking McDavid, Draisaitl, and Kane, leaving Bouchard open for shot opportunities.
I don’t see the Panthers reducing their penalties. Through two games, Edmonton has had 10 total power-play opportunities. Even though they are at home, the Panthers aren’t afraid of letting the Oilers know who is the more physical team. Bouchard will be a part of the offense regardless, and I see him easily getting three shots at Bobrovsky.
