See Picks & Statistics For The GameWe are back in Las Vegas once again as the Golden Knights host the Dallas Stars in Game 4 of this opening round series in the NHL Playoffs. After taking both games in Texas, the Knights dropped Game 3 to the Stars in overtime. The Stars jumped out to a 1-0 lead after the 1st, and extended it to 2 goals 5 minutes into the 2nd period.
However, VGK was not going down easy. The Knights had tied the game before end of the 2nd period, and after a scoreless 3rd, we were headed to overtime. Vegas battled back to force OT at home, but Wyatt Johnston netted his 2nd of the game to win it with less than 4 minutes left on the clock.
Will Vegas respond before going back to Texas? Or can the Stars steal both games on the road like the Golden Knights did to them?

Will Golden Knights Respond in Game 4?

Logan Thompson has saved 89 of 96 shots on goal this series
The Stars did what they had to do in Game 3, as I definitely thought the Knights would sweep tonight if they took Game 3. However, I think I am still going to back VGK at home as a short underdog. If you give me the Knights at home for plus money, more than likely, I am going to take that bet.
For starters, the Knights were 27-12-2 at home this year, compared to 18-17-6 on the road. Quite the difference if you ask me, even though those numbers haven’t translated so far this series. Dallas has a very similar record on either home or away ice, and they’ve taken the Knights to overtime in both games in Vegas this year, with the Knights winning in a shootout during the regular season.
Last night, Jake Oettinger played incredible, stopping 32 of 34 shots and getting the win for his team. The Stars will look to him to keep it up tonight, against a Golden Knights team that is capable of an explosive offense, and has revenge on their mind. Once again, I think Vegas is the better, deeper team, and I will be backing them as short home underdogs tonight.
Dallas Stars vs Vegas Golden Knights Best Bets

Can the Golden Knights beat the Stars tonight in Game 4?
Best Bet: Golden Knights ML (+102) BetOnline
BetOnline is the only book offering this for more than even money, and I’m a sucker for the Knights at plus money at home. VGK is 9-4 at home the past two postseason, and 2-2 against the Stars at home, losing their L2. After getting Mark Stone back from injury, the Knights are arguably the deepest team in the NHL besides the Rangers, and they are connecting on the power play.
Dallas is just 1/5 on the Power Play this series, and they allowed a shorthanded goal last night. The Knights are 2/4 on PP opportunities in 3 games so far, and at home I think the whistle might be slightly on their side. I think the Knights focus a little more heavily on offense and really showcase how they can rip the puck.
They were outshot in Games 1 and 3 of this series, but tonight I think they come out firing. Like I said, I’m a sucker for the Knights at home for plus money, and I’m taking the bait again tonight.
Don’t let me down, Vegas.
