Steelers vs Ravens NFL Week 16 Predictions & Picks (12/21)
Saturday night’s clash is the second matchup of the season between these AFC North rivals. They previously met in Pittsburgh for a Week 11 collision, ending in an 18-16 win for the Steelers over the Ravens. Even though Pittsburgh’s offense didn’t score any touchdowns that day, it didn’t matter as kicker Chris Boswell connected on all six of his field-goal attempts — including three that were from at least 50 yards out.
It was business as usual for the Steelers, who are now a resounding 8-1 SU in their last nine meetings with the Ravens. Even though the location has changed and the odds are now in the Ravens’ favor, it’s worth noting that the Steelers are 6-1 ATS across their last seven trips to M&T Bank Stadium.
Nevertheless, Mike Tomlin’s team is on rebound watch after falling 27-13 to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 15. Pittsburgh couldn’t get anything going that night, registering only 163 total yards while going 3-of-10 on third downs.
Meanwhile, the Ravens are feeling good following their 35-14 win against the New York Giants. Quarterback Lamar Jackson dazzled with 290 passing yards and five touchdowns, which included a pair of scores thrown to wideout Rashod Bateman.
How will Ravens QB Lamar Jackson build on last week’s five-TD performance?
One big hurdle in the Steelers’ way of sweeping the series is George Pickens’ hamstring injury, which is likely ruling him out of the Week 16 tilt. The 23-year-old playmaker has been Pittsburgh’s best pass-catcher this season as he paces his teammates in receptions (55) and receiving yards (850) while scoring three touchdowns along the way.
In other words, Pickens’ potential absence will make it tough for the Steelers to match the Ravens’ offense, which averages 29.9 PPG (3rd) this season and 30.6 PPG since Week 4.
With that being said, I see the Ravens winning this weekend. The Steelers are in a bit of a vulnerable spot at the moment, especially with Pickens’ status unknown. Baltimore also needs to win to keep pace with Pittsburgh in the AFC North race, giving John Harbaugh’s team yet another reason to win Saturday evening.
Additionally, let’s take the Under on the 44.5-point total. After all, the Under is 8-0 in the last eight clashes between these AFC North rivals, averaging 31.0 combined points along the way. After these foes combined for 34 points in Week 11, it’s safe to temper offensive expectations this weekend.

Best Steelers vs Ravens NFL Week 16 Player Prop Bet
A Zay Flowers anytime touchdown (+140 on SportsBetting) is what I’m looking at for Saturday’s best Steelers vs. Ravens player prop bet.
Flowers has cemented himself as a legitimate No. 1 receiver this season, recording 66 receptions for 916 yards and four touchdowns in the first 14 games. Even though the ex-Boston College product hasn’t found the end zone in three consecutive outings, that could change against the Steelers in Week 16. After all, he did score a 16-yard TD against Pittsburgh in Week 11.
The Steelers’ pass defense has been good this season, however, it displayed a ton of holes against the Eagles last week. Philadelphia WRs A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith combined for 219 yards on 19 catches while scoring a touchdown apiece.
As long as Jackson continues looking Flowers’ way, I like his odds of scoring at home in a must-win game this weekend.
Best Steelers vs. Ravens Player Prop: Zay Flowers Anytime Touchdown (+140)
