Well the 2024/25 NFL Season is coming to a close. We have made it to Super Bowl 59.
This Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs have a chance to make history to come the first team to win 3 SUPER BOWLS in a row and solidify themselves as a dynasty in the NFL history books. In their way? The Philadelphia Eagles looking to get revenge after their Super Bowl loss 2 seasons ago against these same Patrick Mahomes led Chiefs.
The @Eagles have the chance to close out this historic season in epic fashion.
They’ll face the team that defeated them in Super Bowl LVII, with the added pressure of ruining the opposition’s hopes of a 3-peat.
Will they get the job done?

Daniel Collins’ Super Bowl 59 Pick

Hopkins will not miss out on making a big impact in his first Super Bowl
Best Bet: DeAndre Hopkins o11.5 Receiving Yards (-110) BetOnline
Man, what a season it has been. It has flown by (as it always seems to do) and we now come to the biggest game of the season. I will admit that I don’t love betting the Super Bowl, because most of the edges go out the window and it really is a true gamble. So instead of boring you with stats and hit rates that I normally rely on in my handicapping, I am going to give you an emotion & narrative bet. Because in these massive games, these are the bets that just mean more.
DeAndre Hopkins has never been to a Super Bowl in his entire career. One of the top 15 receivers in the last decade hasn’t even sniffed the mountain top and on Sunday, his chance arrives.
DeAndre Hopkins just posted this on his Instagram 😤🔥

I know he hasn’t done much the last 3 weeks. And that’s being generous. He’s been non-existent.
But I just know that Andy Reid is going to get Nuke involved and this line is just simply too low. He could bag this in one back shoulder connection with Mahomes.
For that reason, I like the ladder too. The value on the 25+ at (+280) is too good to pass up and even the 40+ at (+700) is worth a cup of coffee.
This could be DeAndre’s last and only chance to win a Super Bowl. He isn’t going to take that for granted.
Nate Hornung’s Super Bowl 59 Pick
Best Bet: Chiefs ML (-115) BetOnline
Waiting till the Big Day has secured us the best number on the Chiefs ML, courtesy of BetOnline. As a Chiefs homer, I am already sitting with a +225 future for them to win, but I’ll double down and back my hometown team.
It takes some serious guts to bet against Mahomes in the playoffs. He’s probably already the best NFL quarterback to play in the postseason. However, we are in for a great game. If KC and Spags can figure out a way to stop Saquon, they should be able to cruise to victory.
I don’t see this getting out of hand and certainly see it staying within a single possession either way.
Colby Marchio’s Super Bowl 59 Pick

Can Mahomes cement his name in the history books once again?
Best Bet: Patrick Mahomes MVP (+110) BetOnline
As a holder of a Chiefs Super Bowl winner ticket, this will be my double-down play for the Super Bowl. Think of this as my “Chiefs Moneyline” at plus money. If you missed betting on the Chiefs to win it all at better odds, Mahomes offers solid value.
Quarterbacks are heavily favored in MVP races, and unless there is a standout defensive performance like Von Miller’s Super Bowl MVP in Super Bowl 50, it is almost always awarded to the leader of the team.
While Travis Kelce is a top candidate, he relies on Mahomes to get him the ball, making it tough for a skill position player to take home the award. Even with running backs, the Chiefs will split touches, further limiting their chances.
For the Chiefs to three-peat as Super Bowl champions, they will need Patrick Mahomes to show up and lead this team to the history books.
Varun Sharma’s Super Bowl 59 Pick

Best Bet: Kareem Hunt Anytime Touchdown (+150) BetOnline
Not only is Kareem Hunt one of my favorite touchdown scorers for Sunday, but I love the value on his first touchdown prop. Hunt has played in 6 career playoff games, scoring 7 rushing touchdowns and 1 touchdown through the air. He’s been the Chiefs most reliable running back this year and even more so in the post-season.
Hunt has scored in both playoff games for the Chiefs this year, also scoring first in both respective games. Hunt has out-carried Pacheco through their L2 games, 25-10 and he’s averaging 4.4 YPC; almost a full yard more than Pacheco.
Over the Chiefs last 5 games, Hunt is seeing about 40% of the redzone rush attamepts with Pacheco seeing even less redzone attempts (14%) than Mahomes. Last week saw Patrick Mahomes run in for two touchdowns, both from within 5 yards. The Eagles are well aware of his rushing ability and knowing Andy Reid, he’s got something else up his sleeve for this one.
In order to stop Saquon Barkley, you have to keep him off the field. The best way to do that is to keep your offense ON the field. The Chiefs will need Hunt’s 4.4 YPC average to help run clock and the fact Hunt hasn’t lost a fumble this year only helps his case.
In last year’s Super Bowl, Pacheco recorded 18 rush attempts for 59 yards, but also lost a fumble with ‘goal to go’ in the game’s 1st quarter. When near the goal line, that’s a risk Andy Reid just isn’t going to take again. Look for Hunt to dominate the snaps in the redzone, especially from within the 5-yard line.

Best Bet: Total Sacks in Super Bowl LIX o5.5 (+100) BetOnline
