Backing Chiefs?
The right play here is Patrick Mahomes at +110 for Super Bowl MVP. If you missed betting on the Chiefs at better odds earlier, Mahomes offers solid value. Quarterbacks are heavily favored in MVP races, and unless there’s a standout defensive performance like Von Miller’s Super Bowl MVP, it is almost always going to the leader of the team. While Travis Kelce is a top candidate, he relies on Mahomes to get him the ball, making it tough for a skill position player to take home the award. Even with running backs, the Chiefs will split touches, further limiting the chances.
Super Bowl MVP: Patrick Mahomes (+110)
Backing Eagles?
If you believe the Eagles will win their second Super Bowl, Jalen Hurts is the smart MVP pick. After facing the league’s third-worst rush defense, the Eagles now face one of the best in the NFL, led by a top defensive coordinator. They will focus on stopping Saquon Barkley, making Hurts the better option.
In Super Bowl 57, Hurts threw for 304 yards, completed 71.1% of his passes, rushed for 70 yards, and scored four total touchdowns. If he can replicate even half of that, he will likely take home the MVP. For Eagles bettors, Hurts is the play.
Super Bowl MVP: Jalen Hurts (+325)
