NCAA Basketball Predictions, Odds & Best Bets: Saturday College Hoops (11/30)

There is ton’s of College Hoops all day long, so we are back for some more NCAA Basketball action! As always, we will be diving into the College Hoops slate to find our best bets for today! We’ve got a decent sized slate, however it is a very long season, so we will continue to pick our spots carefully.

NCAA Basketball Best Bets – November 30th, 2024

#21 Creighton vs Notre Dame Predictions

Slight Lean: Creighton/ND Under 145.5 (-110)BetOnline

Just a lean in this game, but here we have two teams desperately needing a win. Creighton has lost 3 straight now, and face a pesky Irish team that has competed well with Rutgers and Houston. I see the Irish playing painfully slow in this ball game, limiting the amount of possessions Creighton gets.

The Blue Jays will look to feed to big guy while also improving their 3 point shooting which has not been where it needs to be as of late. Knowing this, I see Notre Dame trying to control the pace of this game and win it on the defensive end. I lean with the Irish to cover as well, but that may just be my faith in the Blue Jays dwindling in November.

#21 Texas A&M vs Rutgers Predictions

Best Bet: Texas A&M -4 (-110) BetOnline

We are backing the Aggies in Las Vegas once again in this 5th Place Game of the Player’s Era Tournament. Texas A&M had been battle tested prior to feast week, facing UCF on the road to start the season as well as taking on #21 Ohio State. Then they faced two great teams in Oregon and Creighton. They are ready and well prepared to take on Rutgers.

The Scarlet Knights are not only led by two freshmen, but also had not really faced adversity until this week. They lost to Kennesaw State on the road, in perhaps a look ahead spot to this tourney. However they played with their food, beating Notre Dame by just 1 in overtime, followed by a tough outing against Alabama. I trust the guards of A&M to be able to disrupt the young ball handlers of Rutgers and make their life very difficult on both ends of the floor.

I am backing the Aggies as I simply think they are the better team, trending in the right direction this season.

Furman vs #1 Kansas Predictions

Best Bet: Furman/Kansas Over 146 (-110) Bovada

Back the offenses in this game, we are rooting for points. The Jayhawks are not only the 4th most efficient offense in the country, but they also play extremely fast. They rank 76th in possessions per game and will force Furman to keep up with them at Allen Fieldhouse.

Now, the Paladins do play slow, but they shoot tons of threes and knock them down. Furman ranks 18th in 3P Rate and 37th in 3P%, shooting over 38% from downtown this season. They also boast a Top 40 eFG% as well and with the Jayhawks ranking middle of the pack in 3P Defense, I could see Furman scoring a majority of their points from beyond the arc tonight.

Kansas will run and push the pace, especially being back at home, and with the sheer amount of threes that the Paladins let fly every game, I’m sure they can connect on more than a few and put up their share of this over.

San Diego State vs Houston Predictions

Slight Lean: SDSU/Houston Under 127 (-110) BetOnline

They honestly could set this line lower and we’d still probably take this bet, however I will hold off officially.

Here we have two EXTREMELY slow and very defensive minded basketball teams. These guys are going to walk the ball up the floor, play rock solid defense for an entire shot clock, contest a bad shot, and do it all again on the other side of the court. SDSU beats teams by playing good defense, which is exactly what they did against Creighton. Against Houston, they’ll be in the same mindset and try to limit the close looks at the basket for the Cougars. Both teams wish they were playing in the Championship game, but this 3rd place matchup will be a great defensive battle.
