After a frenetic finish at Talladega, the NASCAR Xfinity Series is set for more drama this weekend in the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 at Texas Motor Speedway (2:00 pm ET, The CW).
Bet on NASCAR Odds at BetOnline and Bovada
If you like to bet on NASCAR odds each week, look no further than BetOnline and Bovada.
Both of these sites offer odds on NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series races, and you can also find series championship odds at both sites.
Why do we recommend both books instead of just one? Line shopping is a valuable part of successful sports betting, and one book may have a better number for one driver, while the other book may have a better number for another driver, so both can be useful on race day.
Additionally, line movement may occur at different times at different books. Therefore, you may get a more favorable line at one book over the other depending on the timing. Use these books in a cooperative manner to maximize your value and chances of success with NASCAR betting.
If you would like to learn more about these sports betting sites and the sportsbook bonuses you can get at them to bet on the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 and other NASCAR races, we have in-depth sportsbook reviews for each of them and several other top online sportsbooks.
Will Hill Go Back-to-Back?
In last week’s Ag-Pro 300 at Talladega, rookie sensation Connor Zilisch was trying to hold on for his second win of the season as the field raced to the checkered flag.
Then Austin Hill attempted to give Richard Childress Racing teammate Jesse Love a helpful push towards the front, which only resulted in Love going into and turning Zilisch, who slid down the track and into the inside wall.
Out came the caution, and Hill was adjudged to have been a whisker in front of Jeb Burton when the yellow came out. By one-thousandth of a second, Hill scored his series-leading third win of the season and his first Xfinity Series win at Talladega.
Amidst all of the chaos, points leader Justin Allgaier finished fourth and continues to maintain a very healthy lead atop the standings ahead of the Andy’s Frozen Custard 300.
NASCAR Xfinity Series Standings (Through 11 of 26 Regular Season Races)
Drivers in bold have won at least one race this season.
- Justin Allgaier – 449 points
- Austin Hill – 370
- Sam Mayer – 347
- Jesse Love – 340
- Carson Kvapil – 306
- Connor Zilisch – 299
- Brandon Jones – 293
- Sammy Smith – 293
- Jeb Burton – 291
- Sheldon Creed – 290
- Ryan Sieg – 284
- Harrison Burton – 276
Due to a lower back injury suffered in his last-lap crash, Zilisch will merely be a spectator for this race, the last one before the series resumes with the BetMGM 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 24. Kyle Larson will now be pulling double duty this weekend, replacing Zilisch for today’s race.
With the Cup Series championship favorite in the field, there is no surprise about who sits atop Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 winner odds, even though he will start 19 spots behind polesitter Hill after qualifying was canceled due to inclement weather.

Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 Predictions & Picks
Austin Hill (-130 at Bovada) H2H vs Sheldon Creed
Hill has finished better than Creed eight times in the first 11 races this season. Since finishing 20th in his first Xfinity Series start at Texas, Hill has an average finish of 5.0 in four starts.
Brandon Jones (-135 at Bovada) H2H vs Carson Kvapil
Jones finished 28th at Talladega, but a second straight such finish is unlikely. The other three times this season that he finished outside of the top 20, he finished 24, 27, and 21 spots better next time out. Also, if the recent pattern of results for these two continues to play out, Jones will finish ahead of Kvapil after Kvapil (17th) finished better than Jones (28th) at Talladega.
Sam Mayer (-110 at Bovada) to finish in the Andy’s Frozen Custard top five
After recording five top-five finishes in the first seven races, Mayer has finished 14th, 11th, 26th, and 14th in the last four races. It is only a matter of time before he experiences an upturn in form, and a track where he won last year is a good place to start. Even if he is unable to match last year’s Andy’s Frozen Custard 300 win, look for his brief top-five drought to end today.
Harrison Burton (+250 at Bovada) to finish in the top ten
At Talladega, Burton finished eighth, logging his fifth top-ten finish of the season. But even though he has more top tens than four of the 11 drivers ahead of him in the standings (Kvapil, Zilisch, his cousin Jeb, and Ryan Sieg), oddsmakers still do not hold a high opinion of his chances for another good finish. That could be beneficial for Burton bettors. He has a fair bit of experience on this track, and that could come in handy in this race, which he won in 2020 when it was part of the Xfinity Series playoffs.
