Will Hendrick Win Again at Texas?

Last week, Austin Cindric picked up his first win of the season as he edged Ryan Preece (who would later be disqualified) at the line to win the Jack Link’s 500 at Talladega.

It was also the first win of the season for Team Penske, who is looking for a fourth straight Cup Series championship.

For now, the team to beat looks like Hendrick Motorsports, at least according to the most recent NASCAR Cup Series Championship odds. And though they fell short of a victory, it was another strong week for HMS, as Kyle Larson (2^nd), William Byron (3^rd), Chase Elliott (5^th), and Alex Bowman (7^th) all finishing high in the running order.

Will this be a winning week for one of the Hendrick cars? Since this became the only Texas Motor Speedway race on the Cup Series schedule back in 2021, Larson (2021), Byron (2023), and Elliott (2024) have been to Victory Lane.

Byron and Larson will start in the front two rows, as the #24 will start up front with polesitter Carson Hocevar with Larson in the second row alongside Cindric.

Wurth 400 Predictions and Picks

Wurth 400 Group Betting: William Byron to win Group A at BetOnline (+220) & Group G at Bovada (+225)

Byron has a good history in this race, finishing second, seventh, first, and third. Look for him to post another robust result in today’s race. Group A at BetOnline also features Reddick, Blaney, and Hamlin, while Group G at Bovada also features the same quartet of drivers.

William Byron to finish in the top three (+200 at Bovada)

In addition to his history at Texas Motor Speedway, Byron is having another strong season. Last week’s result at Talladega was his fourth top-three finish of the season, and he has finished in the top six seven times thus far.

Tyler Reddick to finish in the top five (+150 at Bovada)

Reddick has not had the most fantastic start this season, recording just four top-ten finishes in ten races, and he only qualified 17^th for the Wurth 400. But he has had success here, and the value in this spot is good when you know what he is capable of at Texas Motor Speedway.

Brad Keselowski to finish in the top ten (+130 at Bovada)

Keselowski has had an absolutely miserable season so far. He failed to record a single top-ten finish in the first ten races, and he enters the Wurth 400 32^nd in the points. But he has finished in the top ten in each of his last six races at Texas Motor Speedway, and even though he qualified 30^th, he should not be counted out today.
