For the second straight NASCAR Cup Series race, a driver picked up their first 2025 win last weekend, as Ryan Blaney took the win in the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. Will today’s FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway (2:00 pm ET, Amazon Prime Video) see yet another driver put some frustrating results behind them?
Bet on NASCAR Odds at BetOnline and Bovada
If you like to bet on NASCAR odds each week, look no further than BetOnline and Bovada.
Both of these sites offer odds on NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, and Craftsman Truck Series races, and you can also find series championship odds at both sites.
Why do we recommend both books instead of just one? Line shopping is a valuable part of successful sports betting, and one book may have a better number for one driver, while the other book may have a better number for another driver, so both can be useful on race day.
Additionally, line movement may occur at different times at different books. Therefore, you may get a more favorable line at one book over the other depending on the timing. Use these books in a cooperative manner to maximize your value and chances of success with NASCAR betting.
If you would like to learn more about these sports betting sites and the sportsbook bonuses you can get at them to bet on the Cracker Barrel 400 and other NASCAR races, we have in-depth sportsbook reviews for each of them and several other top online sportsbooks.
Another Week, Another Different Winner?
Over the last five races, there have been five different winners. Four of them have picked up their first win in 2025, and the tally of drivers with a win this season is now up to nine after Ryan Blaney took the checkered flag last Sunday.
Will a tenth different winner emerge this weekend?
There are several potential candidates, and some of them will start at or near the front after a speedy run in FireKeepers Casino 400 qualifying.
Here is the makeup of the front six rows, which features seven winless drivers.
- Chase Briscoe
- Kyle Busch
- Denny Hamlin
- William Byron
- Kyle Larson
- Chris Buescher
- Josh Berry
- Ty Gibbs
- Bubba Wallace
- Zane Smith
- Austin Cindric
- Tyler Reddick
Reddick (7th), Wallace (10th), Briscoe (11th), Buescher (14th), and Busch (15th) are all currently in the top 16 in the points standings, but with one outsider (Berry, who is 20th) already with a win, victories, not just points, are the only way to make sure of a place in this season’s championship playoffs.
Will this week finally be Briscoe’s week? He has put the #19 Bass Pro Shops car on the pole for the third straight race and fourth time this season. He converted his first two poles of the season to top-five finishes in blockbuster races, but he was only 17th at Nashville Superspeedway.
Even though he will start up front, oddsmakers do not appear to have a great deal of faith in his prospects. At BetOnline, he has the joint-ninth best odds to win, with Gibbs and Buescher ahead of him even though he is in a better position in both the standings and the starting lineup for the FireKeepers Casino 400.

FireKeepers Casino 400 Predictions and Picks
Kyle Larson to finish in the FireKeepers Casino 400 top five (+100 at Bovada)
This season, Larson has yet to finish outside the top three in three consecutive races, and he hasn’t had three consecutive finishes outside the top five since Nashville, Chicago, and Pocono last season. So, you have to like his chances of finishing in the top five, and taking him to finish in the top three (+160 at Bovada) is also worth a long look.
Chase Briscoe to finish in the top ten (-125 at Bovada)
It seems like only a matter of time before Briscoe turns his qualifying speed into a race win. Will it be this week? Recent history at Michigan is not favorable for polesitters. But he should at least have a much better result than he did last weekend and pick up his seventh top-ten finish of the season. Five of the six he has are top-five finishes, so also consider backing him to finish in the top five (+225 at Bovada).
Chris Buescher to finish in the top five (+200 at Bovada)
Now would be a fantastic time to pick up his first win of the season, as there are only 30 points separating him and John Hunter Nemechek, who is 22nd in the standings. Buescher won the FireKeepers Casino 400 in 2023 and finished sixth last year, and after finishing outside of the top ten at Charlotte and Nashville, another strong Michigan finish should be in the cards in this year’s race.
What other options are worth considering? Here are a few: a top-five finish for William Byron (+125 at Bovada), a top-five finish for Ryan Blaney (+160 at Bovada), a top-ten finish for Ty Gibbs (-125 at Bovada), and a top-ten finish for Bubba Wallace (+100 at Bovada).
