The Tigers outscored the Royals 19-9 in those four games, covering the run line in all of their wins, while only losing on the final matchup by one. Now in Kansas City, will the Royals get their revenge tonight? Or can the Tigers continue their domination over the division and keep their four game winning streak alive?

There is magic in the air, the entire team plays better, both at the plate and on the mound, and this is a perfect spot for them to bounce back.

The Tigers took 3/4 against Kansas City when they hosted in April. Now it’s the Royals turn to get their revenge, starting with a Friday night win to kick off the weekend. The Royals have been hitting .266 during the month of May, and Casey Mize sees his numbers get slightly worse on the road. In the past two weeks, Kansas City ranks 8th in the MLB hitting .263 as a team, while the Tigers are bottom-five, batting just .219.

The Royals are also 4-2 this season following an off day, and 4-1 when that next matchup is at home.
