Playtech Expand Partnership Deal with SkillOnNet in Ontario

Playtech, a London-based gambling software company, has recently signed a partnership deal with SkillOnNet, an online casino software provider. Their partnership will be conducted under Playtech’s game studio, Eyecon, which will give them access to the online casino Canada market.

Moreover, Eyecon will deliver its portfolio of iGaming titles to players in Ontario for the first time. As part of its deal with SkillOnNet, Playtech aims to repeat their success of the partnership in other markets.

Paul Gilbert, Eyecon’s Commercial Director, stated that launching their games in Ontario with SkillOnNet is an important milestone. He also noted that establishing a presence in Canada and other markets is their main goal.

“SkillOnNet is a key operator in the Ontario market, and we are excited to be building on our already strong relationship with them as our exclusive partner for this launch,” Gilbert added.

Jani Kontturi, Head of Games at SkillOnNet, shared the same sentiment,

Playtech Strengthens Their Live Casino Offerings

Apart from their team up with SkillOnNet, Playtech has also been busy cultivating their live casino portfolio for 2025. They launched a new studio earlier this month, as part of their partnership with evoke plc.

Club Aurora is Playtech’s third studio that they’ve launched with evoke plc. Along with conventional online casino games, Club Aurora also offers free-to-play options via its Trivia hub. Playtech and evoke plc’s live studio partnership began in 2024, and are currently available in European markets.

Furthermore, Eyecon also expanded its reach in Europe by delivering online casino games to Ivy Casino. This team up is another successful step in the company’s goal to strengthen their presence in the UK iGaming market.
