1. Kent Johnson Point +105 on BetOnline:

Kent Johnson of the Columbus Blue Jackets is a point producer
Kent Johnson and the Columbus are rolling, and making a serious push for the playoffs. The team ranks 5th in goals for per game played this season, averaging 3.42. And winger Kent Johnson is a big part of the team’s success. He has a point in 9 of the last 10 games with 11 points in those games. So why on earth is his point prop even money?!
Well Columbus will take on the Tampa Bay Lightning tonight who have been playing fantastic hockey. They have not allowed more than two goals in the last five games. On top of this Columbus is a bit worse on the road, ranking 23rd for goals for per game played. However, tonight the Lightning will be coming off a back to back and that’s exactly why Kent’s point at a discount is an NHL best bet.
The Lightning should be starting backup Jonas Johansson tonight. And while he had a decent start of the season he has allowed 3+ goals in in 5 of his last 6 starts, including twice against Chicago and once against Anaheim, both bottom feeders in the league. After a hot run Tampa finally lost last night against the Florida Panthers. This feels like a game that could be much looser and Kent along with his redhot linemate Boone Jenner should be primed to help their team reach the finish line first.

2. Travis Konecny o2.5 SOG +125 on BetOnline:

Konecny loves firing puck against Pittsburgh
Sometimes when a player gets hot, there is not need to jump off the wagon until there are signs a wheel may come off. Right now, the wagon is Travis Konecny and the wheels are BOLTED on. The Philadelphia Flyers seem to be finding a groove right now, and a big part of that is the leadership Konecny is bringing and the chaos Michkov is created on the third line.
Konecny has now hit his SOG prop in five straight games. In fact we have hit it twice in a row for +135 and +120 worth of value. In those games he is averaging 6.2 shot attempts, including a 7 and 8 shot attempt performance his last two game. Tonight the Flyers will host the Calgary Flames, a team who is pushing for the playoffs but in the midst of a long road trip.
The Flames are allowing the 13th most shots against over the last 10 games. A big reason they can afford to allow shots is due to the great goaltending they have been getting from Dustin Wolf, who is likely to start tonight. If he stands on his head, it will mean that the Flyers will need to pepper him with shots. Luckily Konecny sees red when he plays the Flames, hitting his SOG prop in 5 of the last 6 matches, averaging 6.8 shot attempts a game. Add it all up and we are getting a discounted price on an NHL best bet tonight.

3. Johnathan Marchessault Point -110 on BetOnline:

Johnathan Marchessault has been one of the Nashville Predators top puck slingers
A common theme in the NHL Best Bets articles is finding players who have recently broke slumps. Generally with these players you will get a discount on their prop, and in hockey it’s great to ride players who go on hot streaks. Johnathan Marchessault of the Nashville Predators is a perfect “buy low” candidate tonight.
After missing his SOG prop in four straight games, Marchessault has now hit in three of the last four games. In those games he has averaged 5.75 shot attempts and 3.5 SOG. And while that still feels a bit rocky for a player set at -120, his history against his opponent is what really sells this NHL best bet. Against the Boston Bruins Marchessault has hit his SOG prop in 7 straight games, averaging 7.6 shot attempts.
The Quebec born player must love the rivalry between his childhood team the Montreal Canadiens and Boston as he always shows up against them. To make matters even better for Marchessault, Boston are without their top two defenseman and one of their best two-way forwards in Brad Marchand. Boston are allowing the 3rd most power play opportunities to opponents as well, meaning Marchy should get plenty of power play time!
