Betty, a prominent real money online casino games operator in Ontario, has recently renewed their partnership with Wyzia, the pioneering Canadian online payment solutions provider. Their initial collaboration started back in 2023, which was essential to Wyzia’s expansion throughout the North American iGaming market.
Wyzia has been at the forefront of Canada’s fintech landscape, pioneering seamless online payment solutions for regulated markets. Notably, Wyzia’s innovative platform connects merchants directly to all Canadian financial institutions, simplifying transactions and empowering businesses with reliable, efficient financial tools.
Guy Fietz, Group CEO at Wyzia, expressed his excitement with the renewal of their agreement with Betty,
“Our collaboration has not only expanded our reach but enhanced the payment experience for Betty’s growing community of players… We look forward to continuing this successful collaboration and driving further innovation in the online gaming industry,” Fietz added.
Betty Canada CEO Chavdar Dimitrov shared the same sentiment, stating that their partnership with Wyzia has been instrumental in providing their players with a seamless, fast, and secure payment experience,
“We are excited about the growth we’ve achieved together and are committed to delivering even better services to our community in the future,” Dimitrov added.
Betty Eyes Further Expansion Outside of Canada
Betty has positioned itself as one of the best Canada online casino providers that caters to Ontario players. Specifically, Betty has prioritized catering to the female demographic by fostering a fun, safe and supportive environment. This focused model has resulted with Betty retaining female players at a rate three times higher than male players.
To date, Betty operates exclusively in Ontario, although it has offices in New York, London and the Bulgarian capital of Sofia as well as Toronto. However, their Ontario-only approach is about to change.
Last month, Betty reported a tenfold increase in net revenue since January and over 1000% growth in active players across Ontario. Following this, co-founder and Group CEO Justin Park detailed plans to transition to a decentralized franchise model which it labelled “the McDonald’s of Casino.”
Noting that the company’s ambitions “have expanded tremendously,” Park said Betty Canada will be the company’s first owned-and-operated franchise, led by co-founder Dimitrov as CEO under a new business model. Park added that Dimitrov has outlined a plan to double revenue through several key initiatives, including launching a fully native mobile app and beginning to develop original games.
Part of their expansion campaign is to establish their brand into other markets, with Park namechecking Betty USA and Betty LATAM as “exciting opportunities for future growth.” Another important step is expansion into Alberta whenever that province opens its doors to commercial online casinos.
