Betting Hero has announced the appointment of Scott Miller, former Chief Operating Officer of Better Collective, to a key leadership role. The move aims to strengthen Betting Hero’s position as a top customer acquisition partner for the U.S. sports betting and iGaming markets.
Miller brings extensive experience in digital marketing, product strategy, and scaling operations across international betting platforms. During his tenure at Better Collective, he led several strategic initiatives that boosted global market reach and operational efficiency.
Betting Hero CEO Jai Maw welcomed Miller’s appointment, calling it a major step toward expanding services and partnerships across regulated U.S. markets. “Scott’s leadership and deep industry knowledge will help us grow faster and smarter,” Maw said in a statement.
“While our goals and objectives have changed, our mission and commitment to assembling best-in-class teams throughout the company has not,” Maw added.
Jeremy Jakary, co-founder of Betting Hero, was also excited with Miller’s addition to their company,
“We’ve always admired the work Scott has done in the industry and we’re thrilled to have him on the team at Betting Hero,” Jakary noted.
The decision reflects the company’s commitment to enhancing its influence in the online sportsbooks space. The company works closely with sportsbook operators, offering in-person activation, customer support, and marketing services. As more states legalize online betting, demand for these services continues to rise.
Miller’s role will focus on strategic partnerships, product development, and scaling Betting Hero’s presence in key jurisdictions. His insights into the North American iGaming market are expected to add significant value to the company’s long-term plans.
Boosting Online Sportsbooks and Player Engagement
The appointment comes at a time when online sportsbooks are competing fiercely for user attention and retention. Miller’s experience will be essential to Betting Hero in helping operators improve player engagement and streamline user onboarding.
Miller’s experience in performance marketing and data analytics will help Betting Hero deliver more effective campaigns for its sportsbook partners. Additionally, the move highlights growing collaboration between marketing firms and betting platforms in the evolving U.S. market.
As the online sports betting landscape matures, industry leaders like Betting Hero are positioning themselves for sustained growth. The addition of Miller underscores the company’s ambition to lead innovation and drive results for online sportsbooks nationwide.
